Your papers, please!
Canada Customs regulations have recently changed, and it is now more difficult to export a vehicle.
You must have an original Ownership Certificate for your vehicle, the numbers on this document must match the numbers on the vehicle, and it must be correctly signed by the specified owner of record.
If there are any lien-holders listed, they must also sign the certificate in the correct place, thereby releasing their interest in the vehicle.
You must also have an original, signed, and dated bill of sale, transferring the vehicle to you from the registered owner (the person whose name appears printed on the front of the document).
If you did not buy the vehicle from the registered owner, but instead from a subsequent owner, you must also have a signed, original bill of sale from any subsequent owner, thereby completing a chain of ownership.
New US Customs regulations require that you also have the drivers license number of the registered owner, and any subsequent owners.
If you do not have an original Ownership Certificate for your vehicle...
If the Ownership Certificate does not match your car...
If the Ownership Certificate is not properly signed, or is otherwise incorrect...
If you do not have the correct drivers license numbers to match the registered owner on the Ownership Certificate, as well as any subsequent owners...
Then you could have serious problems getting your car exported.

We ensure that your documents are in order, that they match your car, that you have the right signatures, and that you have the right drivers license numbers.
