Pre-Purchase Inspections

An effective pre-purchase inspection accurately portrays the condition of a subject vehicle.

In order to make an informed decision a prospective buyer should have the answers to a comprehensive set of questions.

Does the car have significant rust?

Is there visible damage, or evidence of damage repairs?

Is the car complete? If not, what is missing? Are additional parts included?

Is the car in original condition? If not, what modifications have been made?

Has it been re-painted? Has the interior been re-upholstered?

Is the car in operable condition? Can it be safely driven? Is it reliable?

Are the engine, driveline, wheels/tires, brakes, electrical system, heating/air conditioning, and fuel system all in good condition?

Does the car have complete and accurate documentation?

Are there any maintenance records available? Do they show a good maintenance history?

Do the various component numbers (engine, transmission, body plate etc) match up? This verification process can have significant impact on the value of a collector-grade car.

These are some of the questions that should be asked and answered during a professional vehicle inspection.

Dialoque answers these questions and more as part of our vehicle inspection service.
